Why? Most of Benko's drivel is BS.
Rubio and Benko are both wrong. The 1986 deal was bad, but this one is much worse. Only a willfully blind man, or one with a political axe to grind, could fail to see the huge costs we are about to be hit with so that people who are, by definition, criminals can entrench themselves here by fiat. It sucks.
I'll take it a little farther and say that if the franchise is universal and without qualification it is a guarantee that rational government will be impossible because the only business of polititians will be pandering for personal gain and the citizens be damned.
Krugman does not have a Nobel Prize. He deliberately misrepresents himself as a Nobel Prize winner, and the idiots in the media perpetuate the hoax. http://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/economics/laureates/2008/press.html
Bohener is just another empty suit wrapped around an empty soul. The man is sans clue in every category, and is the poster boy for why seniority ought to mean nothing in Congress.

the 'Moronic' generation. Sadly, I must agree. There must be something in the Washington water, sort of political saltpeter, that causes all congresscritters to lose their minds by the start of their second terms.

There you go telling the truth again. Not that it will do much good. The depth of demounion corruption is so great that as long as the demopress supresses the facts there is no hope of reversal. I am about to conclude that unions--all of them--are little more than domestic terrorists holding entire populations in bondage to their wishes.

Idiots All

Right on John. They are idiots all, but the people who continually vote for the scum are an even higher order of idiot. Societal entrophy is at work. Don't expect it to get any better.
Exactly.
What it really is is this: They will recognize no authority higher than themselves. As was said long ago, "Every man did what was right in his own eyes". That resulted in judgment then, and it will again.
