Excuse Me, Your Illogic Is Showing: Orwell’s Vision Emerges In California

"Mr. James went on to say that “a gun is an offensive weapon used to intimidate and show power." Intimidate? Show power? Really, Chief? This moron is a walking, talking example of what is wrong with many police officers in our country. While I respect police officers in general, and the difficult job they have, I do not worship them as heroes. Many of them are in the profession for the wrong reason. To be blunt, to have the ability to bully others. This statement, by a police chief of all people, illustrates this mindset. Police officers chose their profession, the majority of them, for the proper reason. They deserve our respect. But lets not forget that there are many people with equally difficult, if not more difficult jobs to perform.
