It relieves the entitlement crisis by removing a generation that feels entitled to a government program. We need LESS programs that make americans dependent on government not MORE. And furthermore "young" americans such as myself don't want to pay into something that won't be there when I retire. I am all for the plan presented by Bush. While democrats stood around and played fear monger or the risks of using the market, the question begs to ask how much money do they themselves have in the market? They are just pandering to fears and potential voters. And finally, it is apparent that the real reason that Democrats and Replublicans didn't want this plan is it would take away money that they could borrow for their programs.

Since the POTUS seems to have no problem throwing W under the bus, what's the problem with using the same stance against him? We've heard "for the last 8 years" a billion times since he took office. This must be the most victim mentality president since FDR, hence our present predicament. While I was a Bush supporter, there was a time I didn't set the emotions aside and stop looking at the candidate I personnally liked without the looking glasses. A great deal of Obama's supporters need to do the same.
