(continued from previous post) Anytime this administration is pushed to talk policy, you can count on its not being specific or willing to set limits on themselves-regardless of Constitutional prohibitions. Someone finally had the courage to pin them down with a sustained effort to highlight the administration's evil efforts to transform our Country and potentially, hold dissenters in check...even assassinate them for whatever reason they chose to warp into their definition of "Imminent threat." He engaged the country in a serious discussion of first principles. You may not agree with him, but he did it. The Constitution was actually discussed on the Senate floor for more than a dozen hours. Incredible.

He put the president on the defensive, using the force of argument to penetrate the White House's standard operating procedure of never engaging its critics on a serious level. Eric Holder, the hapless AG, came away scorched.
