I admit that BHO can't let this crisis go to waste so he'll manufacture some pain in order to try to win back his lost political ground. In other words, like the spoiled child he is, he will inflict pain on the people instead of using this as a step toward curbing wasteful, corrupt spending. The bottom line is, he'll have all the money he had in 2012 plus some more. Take a chill pill and vote for an adult next chance you get.

The statist agenda of ever-growing government requires more money going to Washington, which is why I think that proponents of limited government should do everything they can to block tax increases.

This is the “starve the beast” theory, and I’ve previously explained why I think it is a necessary part of any long-run strategy to restrain the burden of government spending.
