2012 - The Year the Can Kicks Back

Yes, young people can be idealistic and that quality combined with a lack of experience and historical perspective and a natural tendency to "buck the system" can and does make them vulnerable to unethical candidates who would exploit such qualities for their own purposes. On the other hand these young people and generations upon generations of young people before them served our country quite honorably in the military services. Many of them died for us before they even got a chance to cast a vote. There is nothing wrong with our children. We just have to teach them from an early age, how to separate the noise of political campaigns from the values and truth as evidenced by the past records of the various candidates.
Two questions Ms. Parker: (1) Given the high percentage of black Americans who do think and act in accordance with the conventional attitudes, values and beliefs prescribed by the likes of Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson, how did you break free from their culturally imposed and sanctioned pressures to conform? (2) What will need to happen for others to do the same? I genuinely appreciate your perspective on these issues. You offer hope to those among us who believe conservatism offers more for all Americans including minorities than continued loyalty to failed liberal exploitation..

If I were President, I would call in all my Cabinet Secretaries, White House Staff and Czars (if I had any) and tell them that, consistent with my campaign pledge, I am cutting the size of government. I would dismiss all National Defense departments (for the time being) and focus on all of other aspects of the executive branch. My assignment would be to return in 90 days with a plan to reduce the size and scope of their budgets by 1/3 within 4 years. I would instruct them to look at GAO records, audits, etc. to root out duplication of services, inefficiencies, failed programs, and other wasteful practices. When they returned in 90 days, I'd then have them rework their numbers and strategies to fully implement withing 2 years. They would...

May I suggest that we allow tax and spenders to have their way and fiscal conservatives to have their way too? Here is how we do that. First, we elect congressmen who will limit congressional staff numbers, and terms of congressmen and reduce taxes (too many resources, too much power and too much potential for control and corruption); and hold congress to their constitutional powers (get the Feds out of our business, restore states rights). Once the Blue States have the ability to use their own money as they wish (but no access to anyone else’s money including severely limited federal money) to waste on give away programs, ability to tax their citizens into oblivion, ability to eliminate the volunteer sector, and ability to punish...

Misfeasance- The performance of a lawful action in an illegal or improper manner.

Our elected officials pander to an illegal minority, ignore the laws of the land, and in doing so put our country in peril. In the mean time the majority of their constituents who are legal citizens with voting privileges pay higher taxes and are inconvenienced and victimized in so many other ways, but for some reason keep reelecting these self-serving egotists to continue their irresponsible governance. It is time to make passing an MMPI test (to screen out crooks) and proof of citizenship as requirements of holding federal office. Our city police officers are already required to do both but not the more powerful who make the laws the officerd...

Rush committed the most inexcusable of offenses in this era of tail wagging the dog, sterile, oblique, convoluted communications. He unashamedly treated blacks and other minorities...as equals. Rush apparently assumes that despite what the PC crowd would have him believe, public figures should be able to handle criticism no matter what their race or political affiliations may be. The responses of people on the left to Rush’s lack of PC editing, point out how PC severely skews reality. Thus, Rush is dubbed "insensitive" and even "racist." Bullhockey!

To reverse this we need sustained promotion of traditional values. You don't get promotion of traditional values from liberals and compromising "conservatives". In addition to the diminishment of family values, the revision of historical truths, and the irreverent bastardization of religious dogma, the congress continues to enact laws to promote the progressive agenda in our work places, particularly within government. We have our work cut out for us, but we must reverse this awful trend. Begin now by voting out the scornful, liberal elitists and replace them with good, honest, conservative public servants of all races, genders, and religions. Save our country before it is too late.
Even Bill O'Reilly has been heard saying, "They [the candidates] all do that [lie]." The first time I heard it from him, I was shocked. That is so unlike Mr. O'Reilly who rarely allows others to use such lame excuses on his show. When did we as a people quit valuing and demanding honesty from our public officials? President Obama’s lies alone should be grounds for impeachment. There must be consequences. No action on our parts reinforces this behavior promising more of the same. People who are lacking in a genuine morale compass such as our President, Speaker and Senate President will exploit our silence to our detriment and all the while advance their fascist agendas. And, “We, the people…” have no one to blame but ourselves. Unless...

Anger Over CIA Flap Is Misplaced

The other team did a masterful job of positioning Cheney as their whipping boy during the Bush years. Now that the public has become used to hating him, it is easy for the libs to use Cheney as their scapegoat. Whenever they feel vulnerable, such as when their support from their fringe and perhaps base is slipping....they just conger up a new fake reason to hate Cheney. Misdirection and smoke and mirrors works well when people are lazy, naïve, uninformed, unthinking, and programmed. Like sands through the hour glass…

Cheney is the guy I want watching my county’s back. Now we have Panetta who has just positioned himself as Pelosi’s’ Boy Friday and lose cannon Biden. God help us.

Besides, how can you not...
Don’t you just love the irony of when libs (who relish the opportunity to accuse their opponents of PC infractions) themselves are caught committing PC infractions? And isn’t it revealing when their willing co-conspirators (the, under different circumstances, offended groups) quickly rush to the rescue of their “in artful” comrades because, they proclaim to, “… know what is in (their) hearts?” Seriously, isn’t that just yummy?
This whole PC nonsense gives me the creeps. It reminds me of the mentality one might expect of junior high school kids who conspire to be mean to certain other kids for reasons other than what has really made them angry or jealous…less self serving reasons. PC reminds me of the story of the woman who called...
