Exactly. Ask the "general public" man on the street, if Obama and the Democrats are "for the little guy" why is Wall Street doing so well and the little guys are still suffering? The Republicans can't wrap their brains around the fact that it's a fight, it's a brawl, the only rule is the winner makes the rules, but as long as enough of the long term Republicans keep holding their office they don't care.

Your first sentence is correct but it doesn't go far enough. The media and a majority in Congress are also playing from the same book. I have been unable so far to find any evidence the "general public" is taking notice. You call them "Sound Bite public" Limbaugh calls them "low information voters" but the liberal media is going to play this as a desperate, partisan, political ploy by the racist Republicans and the majority of the "general public" is going to believe it. Look at the difference between how the Democrat voters in New Orleans responded to Katrina and how the Republican voters in Moore Oklahoma responded to the tornado. In New Orleans it was "somebody help us" in Moore they went to work within hours of the tornado passing. The "IRS Scandal" will not last through the summer, the Democrats in the IRS effectively shut down the Tea Party movement in blatant violation of the Constitution but without an honest, objective media it will come to nothing.

The Arrogance of the IRS

Let's face the facts. The government is the master, the working class is the servant. The career politicians use the power and privilege to buy the votes of the dependent class. The complexity and power of the IRS works to their advantage. This scandal will pass once they get their fill of strutting and posturing. There will be an abundance of chest pounding and little to no reform. The right thing to do and the best thing to do for the "common good" is to dismantle the IRS and replace the current tax code with a simpler, flatter tax but that would limit the power and privilege of government and that will not happen.
I don't buy into the myth that carrying a gun transforms a person into a drunken cowboy, I realize it helps people like Mr. Gallagher drive people to his website or improves the chances of someone hiring him as a security consultant to promote the idea than unless you have "proper training" that coincidentally they just happen to provide, you should not be allowed to bear arms. It sounds like more infringement of our right to bear arms. Here in "common-sense-ville" it's not rocket science to realize that if someone walks into a school or church and starts shooting the "proper" thing to do is put them down. My experience has been that upon completing concealed carry training the tendency is to be even more cautious when carrying a weapon in public.
Hate to keep playing my one string guitar but this "scandal" needs to be the impetus to shut down the IRS and install a simple flat tax, eliminate exemptions, deductions and lower the tax rate. I don't believe it will happen but it's the right thing to do and it's the best thing for the common good.
If the discovery of this scandal, which is most likely just the tiny, tip of a giant iceberg, doesn't lead to dismantling the IRS and dumping the current tax code and replacing it all with a simple, flat tax then we can be sure beyond the slightest doubt that representative government is dead in the United States of America. Any elected official, Democrat, Republican it doesn't matter, who would stand by while a part of the government punishes citizens for exercising their God given rights is a disgrace and should be removed from office.
I wonder if AP has a better understanding of the term "useful idiot" now?
Makes me prouder than ever to NOT be from New York City. "The greatest city in the world" what a joke, just another rendition of the emperor's new clothes.
Just as surely as the media elected the most unqualified candidate and then re-elected the most incompetent president, they will spin this and help cast Obama in the role of super hero/savior coming to the rescue. Standing alone battling for the common man against evil. The theme will be about how much worse it could have been if not for King Obama.

Wind farms get pass on eagle deaths

All for the sake of a lie. Wind as a viable, "alternative" source of energy is a myth and fraud concocted to make a very few elites extremely wealthy. My suggestion for some 'shovel ready jobs' is to start tearing the wind mills down, immediately. The industry cannot survive on it's own, it has to be subsidized by taxpayer dollars and it's is the epitome of the term boondoggle.
