Independent voters will pick the next President. They do not have a good choice, but they will choose Romney for one reason. The Republican administration of George W. Bush increased the national debt by five trillion dollars in eight years. The Democratic administration of Barack Obama has increased the national debt by about the same amount in less than four years. The two major parties profit immensely from borrowing money on national credit. Independent voters do not. When Republicans and Democrats divide up the money in Congress, none of it goes to independent voters, who are now 43% of the voters in the United States. Independent voters will vote this election for Romney because he will borrow less money than Obama.
Last week, I showed how the Republican Party likely would lose the presidential election in November if it were to use conventional campaign tactics. However, I also explained an unconventional strategy that could usher in victory for the GOP and our republic -- a tactic used by President Abraham Lincoln.
