If Bork had enabled Roe to be overturned and abortion had become illegal again, back-alley abortionists would have instantly srung up and done a brisk business . And many,many poor women would have died from botched illegal abortions or nearly perished , while all th etime, women who could afford them would have just flew off to Europe, Canada or elsewhere for safe legal ones . We would have had more and more children left without mothers, and those poor women who did not have abortions would have populated America with more and more desperattely poor, malnourished children who would have lived horrible lives.
