To Solve Budget Woes, California Should Expand Privatization Idea

Privatize many functions of the Calif. The main problem we have is the expensive pension system. Many retirees are outlasting the input for what contributed. The prisons can be privatized and so can CalTrans for another. Put the jobs out for bid to private companies and let them worry about the retirement for their employees. The work will be done faster and better and there will not be a longlasting liability for the government. Make parents responsible for their kids actions in school and you will get the same results as private schools. Private schools can get rid of kids that do not cooperate. Just a couple of ideas that can help these departments of the state of California.
