In response to:

Hispanicked GOP Elite: They'll Respect Us In the Morning

Libertarians have something everyone can love or everyone can hate! They stand for smaller less intrusive government, respect for private property rights, adherence to the U.S. Constitution, and the protection for the rights of individuals. All of those things most Republicans and conservatives would support. However, liberals believe in none of that. Libertarians also believe in a smaller military, no intrusions into Countries not in our National defense interest; believe a woman has the right to abortions, drug use is a personal matter if it harms no one else, allow homosexual marriage, and unrestricted immigration-all conservatives are against.

If the Libertarians could manage to run a serious candidate, I'd hop on board in a heart beat. I voted for Gary Johnson this past election. I think he's a nut, but I couldn't, in good conscience, vote for either Obama or Romney. I changed my affiliation from Independent to Democrat to make a point, and then voted for Johnson to make a point. The point is that the Republican Party is clueless, out of touch, and filled with haters and bigots. If the Libertarian Party could cleanse their ranks of the fringe, nutty Tea Party types, they might be able to pick up disenchanted Republicans and disenchanted moderate Dems. Good luck, and I mean that with all sincerity.

Grace, I'm a registered Independent and greatly resent the invasion of 10's of millions of illegal aliens most hispanics and their anchor babies.. I live in Southern California and see what these 3rd world vermin bring with them.. If being resentful and calling a illegal an illegal is being a racist and bigot, then I stand proud and accept the labels..

I realize you would require illegal aliens to abort their babies, but I'm prolife and don't see that as an answer. Promiscuity and immorality are not just Latino problems. They're general societal problems and no one ethnic group has that market cornered.

Resentment isn't going to get you far in life. Maybe you should change your attitude, tone down the negativity and do something positive and proactive. Ever think of that?

G, if

but

they cannot.

They will always be just a movement, not a true party.

R, that is why

I choose

to become a libertarian.

You chose to become a libertarian because you're an idiot.

I USED to be a libertarian. Then I graduated the 9th grade.

Any "libertarian" argument can be defeated by asking just one simple question: At what cost.

Amusingly, that's the same question that defeats every single progressive argument as well.

Uh, your posts suggest statist, elitist positions.
Don't anyone tell Marco Rubio, John McCain or Jeff Flake that nearly 80 percent of Hindus voted for Obama, or who knows what they'll come up with.

I understand the interest of business lobbies in getting cheap, unskilled labor through amnesty, but why do Republican officeholders want to create up to 20 million more Democratic voters, especially if it involves flouting the law? Are the campaign donations from the soulless rich more important than actual voters?

Without citing any evidence, the Rubio Republicans simply assert that granting 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens amnesty will make Hispanics warm...
