We have free will? John Calvin will be disappointed!
And people sneer at me because I have deliberately not had children!
"From each according to his ability, to each according to his his need." What is there to not understand about this implementation of real social justice?
Interesting comment! I think the above person has kept their thinking skills intact. I've often wondered how any sane person who supposedly is a "conservative" can support any politician who claims any sort of link with Ayn Rand. Objectivism's main tenet is "Selfishness is the only usable philosophy."
Keep two things in mind: first, Jon Meis was a trained site monitor - he had the pepper spray because it was issued to him as a means of keeping the peace, and he was trained in such activity by the school. Second, this was a Christian school - John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

1 in 5 Americans on Medicaid

SO WHAT?! The thing you conservatives need to ask is - "How many people NEED to be on Medicaid?" I was forced out of a good job by a union hack at age 59. Right now, I have minimum social security. If I didn't have Medicaid - which Obambacare allowed me to enroll in - I would have no medical care at all.The state I'm in, prior to this, did not allow able-bodied males under 65 to get any sort of state aid of any kind, other than resume assistance! So quit lumping together all people who get any sort of aid, figure out how to eliminate the cheaters, quitcher conservative belly-akin' and start thinking about how to really help people who actually need it!!

Two things: 1 John 2:15 - "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." And faith-based films are usually put out by people who think along the lines of "Gee, look at us! We can do something SIGNIFICANT for the Kingdom of God!" Exactly the same thing as vanity publishing a book.
