You are so right - time to cull the RINOs and nominate someone that the grass roots actually like! No more Romney, Christy, Ryan, or Rubio. They are all establishment guys. How about nominating Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, or Mike Lee?
Exactly - get rid of RINOs like McCain and put Rand, Cruz, Lee and Amash in charge, and you might have a chance of winning some elections. As long as we look to irrelevant has-beens like McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Mitt Romney, we'll continue to lose every election.
You know you're doing something right when both Andrea Mitchell and John McCain are against you. Both of them are idiots!

10 Stories That Prove Guns Save Lives

I have heard this statistic but could never find the original source. Do you have a link? I've got links to the FBI crime stats but couldn't find the references to cops hitting civilians (like in NYC near the Empire State Building) or the number of criminals apprehended by citizens. I know of two studies attempting to count lives saved by guns (either 62k on the low side or 2.5m on the high end). I thinks we gun advocates need to stick 100% to the facts (no opinion or feelings) and we all need to KNOW the facts so we can correct the gun-grabbers.
Tea Party is not the least bit extreme - they are the most conservative group in politics. It is hilarious how the media tries to spin the only group who actually want to follow the constitution as "extreme" when it's really the spenders and police/nanny state people who are actually "extreme".
Of course there are, but the NeoCons marginalize the true conservatives. For example Ron Paul was much more conservative than any of the other candidates, including religious zealot war-monger Santorum.
I can answer how Romney is a Liberal, since I live in Massachusetts. First, Romney invented ObamneyCare - socialized medicine for the masses. Secondly, Mittens signed into law a permanent assault weapons ban in Massachusetts. Our firearms laws in Mass are only second to New York in terms of being arbitrarily limiting. Other than making us second to last in job growth during his brief tenure, that is what made Mittens a terrible Libral candidate.
Rubio would make a good VP, but the best candidate for President is definitely Rand Paul. Hopefully the NeoCons realize this after getting Obama elected by nominating Romney over Ron Paul. If they nominate another centrist without strong convictions then the GOP will lose yet again. We need a defender of the constitution, and there are only two people in all of Congress that stand up for the constitution on EVERY vote and both their last names are "Paul". With Ron retiring, Rand is going to have to pick up the slack.

How Republicans Can Find Themselves

Actually what we don't need is the GOP leadership and the media telling us who "our candidate" is. The people who insisted Romney was the "front-runner" despite him being the weakest, most politically challenged candidate in the primaries are the ones responsible for this loss. Literally any of the other candidates would have been a better choice than Romney, but to cheat to keep Ron Paul from being on the ballot at the convention - that was the last nail in the GOP coffin. The GOP might never recover from that mistake.

Like she said - Ron Paul has been 100% consistent and constitutional for over 30 years. Consistent statesmen are out there, you just need to do your research and ignore the media, pundits, and websites like this one. Maybe if town hall hasn't been 90% against Ron Paul during the primaries, we could have nominated him and won the election, but instead Town Hall was NeoCon Central. The supposedly conservative media has to take responsibility for their part in this loss too - every time they called Romney "the front-runner" even though he was losing straw polls and polling lower nationally then candidates like Ron Paul, they were contributing to this embarrassing loss.
