Rape is not sex lemmi. Thousands of women are raped resulting in pregnancy (many from husbands or boyfriends). If you condone state mandated forced abortion like in China then you also condone state mandated forcing of the rape victim to have the baby. I'm as anti abortion as any man but as a man, I can't get pregnant so that horrible 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' choice will never have to be made. Yet as a man, I have the nerve to lecture those who can get pregnant? A little hypocritical don't cha think?

Ever hear of artificial insemination Birdman? Ever hear of pregnancies resulting from RAPE? Yes Bird, even lesbians can be raped. Perhaps if you could experience it first hand you'd realize how important contraceptives are to ALL women. Perhaps if you were born with one of hundreds of female conditions requiring hormonal therapy (birth control pills) you'd realize how important low cost easy access to those therapies would be. Perhaps if you'd realize that low cost easy access to contraceptives and health care for all Americans would drastically reduce abortions you'd be more receptive to universal health care. Oh that's right, men like you can't get pregnant from rape. Too bad. Maybe they'd be better able to reason if they could.

Try to remember that God gave Abel free will to kill his brother Cain. Abel obeyed God while Cain did not. It's always up to you.

So called conservatives seem to miss the point as well anderson. The US has one of the highest abortion rates in the world. Countries with universal health care have some of the fewest abortion rates in the world. 37% of abortions occur among the poor. 50% of abortions are from unwanted pregnancies. So if health care along with access to contraception for all Americans will drastically reduce abortions in the United States while promoting health and life, then why are so many so called pro lifers and so called conservatives against universal health care? Sorry for the pun but many are dead against universal health care. Contrast this with war which promotes death and destruction isn't the choice for a true pro lifer a no brainer?

When I was a boy I hunted for sport. I was taught to do so by my dad. One day I shot a squirrel. When I went to pick up the carcass it was still breathing. Actually, it was gasping for breath. Gasping for life. God spoke to me very clearly that day in the woods. I never hunted again. Sometimes God speaks but we don't hear or we simply refuse to listen.
