Congress does not care, the senate does not care, and the president most assuredly does not care. Financial chaos is the end game, failure of the country and a time to destroy the constitution, and replace it with a dictatorship

It has everything to do with the president, he generates the mind set, and as president, he has direct operating control of every thing in the government. Use some common sense.

It has been a long time since common sense was discovered in the educational system, or in government. One way or another we need to get the attention of our elected and appointed officials, to remind them that they have those positions because they are supposed to lead, not rule. It may be time to change all of them.

In my humble opinion social security was not intended to be an entitlement program, it was our elected representatives that made it so. They were struck by the amount of money that was just sitting there earning interest, and they decided to spend it, thus making the whole system unsustainable. Return SS to what it was originally intended for, get those that have paid nothing into the system out of it, return the money that has been stolen by congress, and the system should function nicely. Likelihood of that happening, zero, because politicians are still buying votes.

It won't, he votes dumbocratic, and lives in california, just look at the mess liberalism has created out there.

No good reason to trust any government, it appears that they all work for self interest, not the interest of the Republic.
