SORRY FRIENDS, I'M A LIFE LONG REPUBLICAN (CONSERVATIVE) VOTER THAT HAD ONE HELL OF A TIME VOTING FOR ROMNEY. IT WASN'T HIS RELIGION-NOR HIS LACK OF FOREIGN EXPERIENCE.............IT WAS MOSTLY THAT HE WAS CLUELESS. I FLAT DIDN'T LIKE HIM. HE WAS ABOUT AS INSPIRATIONAL AS WATCHING OLD PAINT DRY ON AN ANTIQUE FENCE. HIS PLAN FOR HIS 1ST TERM WAS........WHAT WAS IT ? I'M NOT SURE AND I DON'T THINK HE EVER KNEW. I HATE BIG GOVERNMENT-DEFICIT RUNAWAY SPENDING-WACKO ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS AND GIVING TO THE MASSES WHO HAVE LEARNED TO USE THE SYSTEM TO LIVE OFF OF. IF THE GOP IS ALIVE IN 2016........I HOPE THEY HAVE A CANDIDATE WITH THE MOXY TO REALLY TAKE ON THE DEMS............OTHERWISE IT IS BACK TO THE SAME OLD LOOSERS.

I agree. I'm not holding it against Romney for taking the high road and not lowering himself to the "obnoxious and in you face" Democrat. Conservatives only have two play books: The Bible and the U.S. Constitution. If you have any questions, consult the appropriate book or document. And Romney did "reach out" to all Americans. He did not adapt a "Negro dialect" when addressing the NAACP, like Obama and Clinton did. He spoke to them like adult Americans. Maybe the problem is that they're not up to it.
First things first.

Many a pundit, such as yours truly, wrote columns explaining the fact that so many polls in the presidential election were skewed in the direction of Democrats and thus not reliable. And while a poll I conducted in the decidedly "red state" of Georgia very accurately showed Mitt Romney enjoying a stronger result than John McCain in '08, my last poll of Florida -- like that conducted by another pollster for two other Florida newspapers, showing Romney winning comfortably in Florida -- was off. That hurts, because in 2008 it was on the money.

There used to be...
