Seawolf........Truly you are part of the pro-Israeli group that would put the entire male graduating class from Peoria on the front lines to fight and die for the State of Israel. I object to that. I object to putting American boots on the ground, American planes in the air or American ships on the seas to defend the State of Israel. I like Senator Hagel because he has a strong record of doing what is right and best for America. Anyone who does not believe that there is a strong Jewish Lobby working the U.S. Congress has blinders on or their head in the sand - or maybe someplace else. Most times the Jewish Lobby is promoting Israel over the best interests of the United States. Having said that it is easy to understand why certain elements of our government will not support Senator Hagel's possible nomination to be Sec/Defense. This American element is as bad or even worse than the Jewish Lobby. America First - Last and Always.

If one were to search the heart and soul of illegal immigrants coming to the U.S. from south of the border one would certainly find that they are here to better themselves. It goes without saying that this influx brings next to nothing to the U.S. and its costs are enormous. Search the heart and soul of those Americans who look upon these illegal immigrants with disfavor and you would certainly find that disfavor is based upon those here illegally and make themselves dependant on social welfare, educational, medical hand outs to sustain themselves. I take personal offence to someone(s) who are here illegally and draining the coffers designed to aid worthy Americans. It is my collective opinion that America cannot be the worlds bread basket.

Hooray for this reporter who saw through the "reasonable restrictions" phrase that the anti-gun coalition wants to start with.......on the way to complete ban on guns. I am not a N.R.A. member but these folks do have it right. Give the anti-gunners their first breach in the defence of gun ownership rights and you will see an avalanche of tighter and tighter restrictions that would make Mayor Bloomberg blush. This authors recognition of the desire of Americans to have their children protected by armed guards is but the begining of what the N.R.A. is calling for. Armed guards at every school in the U.S.A.
