Sad to say...being from Minnesota, I see this first hand. The teacher's unions have spent millions because "it's for the kids". And because so many Minnesotans are gullible liberals, the unions often get their way. And thanks to our infamous sanctuary cities, gang violence is on the increase. It is my understanding that we now have one of the largest (if not the largest) Somalian populations in the country. So now this new group includes many fundraisers who send money and their own children back to home to assist in terrorism. And unfortunately we have the most left-leaning Mayors in the country who have found many new ways to tax our citizens. If I didn't have grand children here I would have been gone long ago...

It's never for the kids. It's for the teachers and the teachers' union. Worst thing to ever happen to education is when teachers became unionized. Get your kids out of government schools if al all possible.
