I vote for the Tufts example. Namely because of the slippery slope. What about a heterosexual who wants to hold a leadership post in the LGBT chapter? Are there any Man's Studies majors at colleges and universities? If we should recognize gay and lesbian marriage federally, why not polygamist marriages? What if someone wants to marry their pet dog? Some people love the planet more than other people. Can they marry a tree and be recognized by our federal government?

I’ve had some fun on this blog by comparing moronic government policies in the United States and United Kingdom.

In my never-ending search for cheap laughs and juvenile entertainment, I’ve ever turned this into a contest to see which nation has more pathetic and useless bureaucrats.

The United Kingdom has some very strong contestants.
