from the right? If these three had been shooting at -- well, anyone else but gay people, they would have been screaming "Terrorist attack!" at the top of their lungs.

Also, if you google "BB gun hate crime shootings," you get over 23,000 hits, so this hasn't exactly been ignored.

The Promise of Marriage

How can you talk about marriage without bashing gays? If your marriage is in trouble, everyone knows that it's because the gays are destroying marriage. If you and your spouse are fighting, frustrated, unhappy, and loveless, you don't need counseling. You need to stop the gays from marrying. Didn't she get the talking points?

"[T]hose who make New Year’s resolutions are 10 times more likely to keep their commitments than those who make no plans or resolutions at all. "

This statement makes no sense. How do you keep a commitment you never made in the first place? How do you measure the likelihood of someone keeping to a plan if they make no plans?

The Swine Flu Boogeyman

I will pass this column along to the family of my friend Holli. I am sure it will make them feel much better as they prepare for her funeral this weekend. Holli was a lively, vibrant, perfectly healthy 37-year-old woman with two young children and a loving husband. She was the director of music and leader of the praise band at her church. And she is dead because of H1N1. She did not have asthma, or diabetes, or cerebal palsy. She had swine flu, which progressed to pneumonia, which killed her after three weeks in intensive care. But by all means, let's continue to downplay the seriousness of this illness because really, it's only a small number of dead people. I mean, what's a hundred people a week (the current CDC numbers, you can check...
"In 2005, the National Rifle Association of America enacted a law that probably saved the American gun-making industry from bankruptcy."

I had no idea the NRA had the constitutional ability to make law. Unless, of course, you're referring to their arm-breaking, spendthrift lobbyists.
They just replaced left-wing whacko ideas with right-wing whacko ideas. I don't see any improvement, just more brainwashing with a different agenda.
