Same-Sex Marriage Thought Police?

It sounds like she respects Amy. You...not so much. Maybe she's less an indiscriminate hater based on her religion than you think. I'll bet it has to do with people who treat her with respect and at the same time have a different opinion. See, it's not hate to disagree with another person's opinion. It's really a lot to expect people to respect you when you're acting hateful.

Sorry, that should read "a gay pride parade represents gay people as much as a KKK rally represents white people"

And your point? Are you suggesting I think the KKK is A-OK? That's a pretty insulting supposition. Or, do you think a gay pride parade represents gay people as much as a KKK rally represents gay people. That is exactly my point. Making her go to a gay pride parade makes as much sense as sending a black person to a KKK meeting so they will become more sensitive to white people.

Maybe she means the kind of thing we see in a gay pride parade.

I suggest mandatory sensitivity training an all schools so that Mormons can escape the terrible hatred out there. It makes as much sense as gay training does---that is to say none at all.

Jennifer is more likely to find even more doubt if she attends a gay pride parade. They seem to find great delight in being as vile and obscene as possible. These are not the actions of reasonable people who want to engage in civil discourse.
bjohn If you want your rights to come from government you are living under the wrong constitution. There are plenty of countries who'll accommodate your desire to have only what the ruling elite say you can have. The federal government guarantees you nothing.

Exactly right. don't mistake a slow rollback for a lack of action. This wasn't created in a day and it'll take years to reverse. We have to start and then continue even when it gets hard, even when people cry, even when the other side paints you as a killer of old ladies. Romney Ryan will have 4 years to make enough of a difference to convince people to stay the course. It won't be easy.
It's OK they're liberals. You can call black people anything if you're a liberal. Just don't take away the checks. Does that sound rrraaacccciiiissssttttt? Not if I'm a liberal saying it.

The Paul Ryan Choice

Making this election about the economy will be good for Republicans. Choosing Ryan shows that Romney is serious about tackling economic issues. Republicans will win on the economy.
So, you must know how Obama did that. Enlighten the rest of us.
