The Stupid Party Acting Stupidly

Derek, we get blamed in the media for even doing what's right, so why don't we do what's right instead of relenting and doing nothing? Act like sheep until after the November elections? Is that what you're advocating? There is a tradition of successfully attaching cuts to the debt ceiling process, so we need not cower in the corner at the threat of the Democrats and their wiling partners in the media proclaiming "shutdown!". If the people are that stupid as to not see the Republicans trying to act semi-fiscally-responsible then there's nothing you can do about stupid people.
Yes, it is that simple.

That's not what "Mission Accomplished" meant. Be honest.

Just happened to see the same interview. IMO, when the parents stress the importance of education to their children and have them ready and eager to learn despite distractions, then the child learns. You see it in the asian and Indian communities in the U.S. They are having no problems getting straight A's and going on to college. Why? Because their parents are practically merciless when it comes to schoolwork and enforcing the notion that they can do just about anything with a good education. The government and unions are just making the process harder for everyone by sticking their noses in where they don't belong.
Elect politicians who are not in it for the money. There are some out there.
If everyone embraced conservative ideas then there would be nothing to oppose.
Create the environment for more jobs to be created by the private sector and for overseas money to return here. Get people working and spending and you can talk about increased revenue without tax increases. That and cutting spending and reforming entitlements is the way to get to a balanced budget and show the world that we're not stupid any more. Spending more than you take in should be a temporary measure, based on an emergency like a war, not the norm. Right now we do look stupid.

Failure: Unions in America Today

So, the relatively few people who actually believe that there may be problems with Obama's documents somehow equates to an entire country's thinking some 80 years ago? Examine your own thought process.
