You assume you will get a raise. I can assure you that most business owners would use the money to buy themselves and their mistresses a new car leaving their employees with a net reduction in their income of $12,500.
None of this matters. In just a few weeks the exchanges will open. In just a few months the mandates will apply. There will be some happy voters and there will be some angry voters and there will be some voters not affected one way ot the other. We will find out soon enough. There is no use now spectulating. Now we find out.
It's a long time to November, 2014. By this time the exchanges will have been online for 13 months. I don't know how Obamacare is going to be received or if it will even affect the election. We probably won't know until the summer of 2014.
How about Social Security and Medicare?
I don't know what is going to happen. By November 2014, the exchanges will have been up and running for 13 months. A lot is going to depend on what kind of bids the insurance companies will have made. If people are happy with the results then it will help the Democrats. If people are unhappy with the results then it will help Republicans. We may not know until next summer.
Both the house and the senate has already approved the spending for Obamacare. It would take both the house and the senate to cut off this funding. The house alone can prevent any new funding, but they can't stop the funding already approved.
This poll is going to backfire on us. From what I've been reading, the exact opposite is true. Since 70% of the American public didn't believe that Issa would make accusations that were not true, when they find out these claims are false, the American people will have a hard time believing anything Issa claims in the future. It's like the boy crying wolf. This isn't a good poll for us. This is a bad poll for us.
That is a very interesting survey, but it doesn't tell us very much about how those surveyed will vote next year. Without a government there is zero protection of rights. Government should protect rights, but to protect one person's rights the government has to infringe on another person's rights. Everytime I think about the issue raised in this survey, I go round and round in circles.

I see the raising of the minimum wage as a means to transfer this obligation from the government to the private sector. I would rather pay 5cents more for a hamburger then have my taxes subsidize these businesses who don't pay their employees enough to buy groceries.
What an Idiot poll. I think most polls are a total waste of time. I can ask a question in two different ways and get two different results from the same people polled. Our Country is in a state of almost equal division right know on which direction it should take. Our two major parties are going to have to figure out how to govern with this division. What would be great is a compromise between the two budgets.
I like Sheppard and OReilly, but that's about the only cable news shows I watch unless there is a Natural Disaster at which time I usually find myself watching CNN. I never considered any of MSNBC's programs as news programs anymore then I consider Hannity a news program. Although OReilly is not really a news program I like to watch him because he used to be a History teacher and I like his opinions on historical events.
