What seems to be the parodox of all eternity is that during the sixties there were thousands shouting the virtues of Mao and attacking the United States as the evil one. That same crowd is still here and now praising Obama vis a vis Moa and Mother Theresa(?). Why didn't all of those Maoist go the China and become one of the many who worshiped the Chairman. Thank you Larry Elder for a first rate piece of journalism-something not often seen in our main stream media. Olberman is a opportunistic loud mouthed bully whom I have tuned out and totally turned off. His editorialized attacks are so boring and so uninformative that it is understandable that MSNBC has low and dropping ratings. His continuous attacks on Rush Limbaugh and the other conservative commentators are mean hearted and really pushes the right that he has as guaranteed by the First Ammendment. Has he noticed that those he attacks and has attacked (President George W. Bush) let his tirades fall in the trash can where they belong.

We the People were given a Republic by our country's founders. They entrusted the responsibility for keeping this Republic to "We the People". We have not done a very good job of keeping this Republic intact for our posterity and the mess that we are in right now is not the fault of the political parties. Political parties are things, not persons and the persons who have let those things get out of control are "We the People". Now the real question we all need to be asking each other is "What are we going to do about?" Attacking each other is not the answer folks!

If we keep watching long enough the real persons will surface. We all know that McCain is not and never will be a true conservative. He is best case a RINO. Palin will read the tea leaves and her true agenda and values will surface. So far she talks a good talk on the talk shows but the real Sara Palin is still obscure and her endorsement of Rick Perry and John McCain creates a cloud of darkness over her true idealogy and raises doubt as to where she really stands when the debate focuses on the basic conservative vs progressive issues. there are others who are yet to surface who may send her back to Alaska.

It should not matter whether the Republicans were the Political Bullies or The Democrats are now the Political Bullies. What matters is that then and now we the people are being disregarded and taken at face value for what we are--a people that have become too lazy to care--and still we are being bullied by the powers behind our elected few.

Sandy Rios' piece here says again what David Kanane wrote yesterday in the National Review Online in his piece "Why I Still Hate You, Sarah Palin". Sandy presents the "What" is happeneing to Sarah Palin and David presents the "Why". Anybody who is fed up with what is going on all around "We the People", should take the time to read both of these pieces and pass them on. Those who like what is happening, well, enjoy the mess we all are in as it will only get worse.

The John Hawkins piece is right on. Every one of the persons awarded inclusion in the "Top Ten Conservatives Of 2009" have been attacked, ridiculed, slandered and minimized by the main stream media for their actions, presence and very difficult hard work in doing what all of us should be doing. That is, standing up for what is right for our Country and being willing to take the hits as the cost of being an American who values our Liberty and Freedom.
