I don't see anyone here saying its 'good for you'.. That is not the issue. The issue is whether the individual should have the freedom to make the choice, or the government should make the choice for the individual. In most cases I side with personal responsibility. Treat people as adults.
As recreational drugs go, marijuana is relatively benign. Unlike alcohol, it doesn't stimulate violence or destroy livers. Unlike tobacco, it doesn't cause lung cancer and heart disease. The worst you can say is that it produces intense, unreasoning panic. Not in users, but in critics.
