The question posed shows the interviewer is scientifically illiterate! There is no single "time" for the age of the earth. We've known that for over 100 years now. The time depends on where you are measuring. If you are on earth looking backwards in time, you measure 15 billion years or so. If you are God describing the age of the universe looking forward from the Big Bang, you will measure 6 days. Science, after thousands of earth years, has finally provided the tools we can use to show the Biblical story was correct all along. Just do the math.
