The Bible vs. Heart

That book also got the BIG BANG correct thousands of years before science finally confirmed there was a "beginning" and an expanding universe. It also got the timing correct. It took 6 days if your clock was running from the perspective of the creator. From our position on earth we measure those events taking 15 billion years. Run the numbers if you are familiar with General Relativity.

Marriage is What it is

I can see it coming. A new National holiday celebrating sodomy with an annual parade down Pennsylvania Avenue with all the TV channels broadcasting it to our kindergarten classrooms.
Exactly the point, Robert!
I love my nephew. I love some guys I went to college with. I love my brothers. Its not about love. The only difference between me and a homosexual is they like to have anal sex with other guys. So, they are asking the court to find a constitutional "right" to special financial rewards for their aberrant sexual behavior. And people are buying this?

So let's see. The question is: "is there a right in the constitution to financially reward two gay guys who like anal sex with each other. I can't wait to see what the court decides!

Gays Don’t Have a Right to Marriage

When gay guys get "married", who is the husband and who is the wife? If they exchange roles from time to time aren't they something other than husband and wife? Why are gay guys afraid of actual women? It's all confusing to me.

'Me Too' Republicans

No, you guys. You don't get it. I'm not advocating a system that takes from the rich and gives to the poor. I'm advocating a system that allows a greater portion of the population to achieve wealth through their own creativity and hard work, not through any government involvement. Work for a large corporation. You'll get paid for the hours you work, not for your ideas or productivity. Under the system you support, capitalist incentives end when you agree to work for wages or salary. That system needs to change.

People always vote their pocketbooks. The real problem is the wealth distribution curve. Dems believe in changing it through redistribution. Republicans want to go back to the system that maintains the curve weighted to the rich. The door is wide open for the Republicans to advocate a new MARKET-BASED system that creates a fairer wealth distribution curve. To do that you have to be creative. Politicians by nature are not creative people. We need people like Thomas Sowell to lead the way. But mr Sowell has not offered the solution to my knowledge. Call me. I'll show you haw to do it.

Who Killed the New Majority?

You are correct. Republicans are failing to deliver economic prosperity. But he answer is NOT to restrict imports from China. We can bring manufacturing jobs back because we can make products more cheaply with higher quality than the Chinese can. We can do this because our workers are more creative than anyone in the world. The republicans can win if they promote policies that reduce the barriers to that creativity.
Republicans should agree to include tax increases to be applied to deficit reduction. But they need to advocate SMART taxes that don't affect the nation's wealth. Many professions add nothing to the wealth of the nation. Go ahead and tax these as much as you want. These include; politicians, pundits, football and other sports players, gamblers, stock and hedge fund brokers, government workers, actors, the leisure industry, TV industry, etc. along with tax cuts for wealth creation industries, we can balance the budget in two years.
Hey Steve. You missed the main point. Its really simple. It's all about money. The Republican Party is associated with rich bankers, lobbyists, oil, and Wall Street. Republicans want to go back to the old system that has produced a wealth distribution curve dramatically skewed toward the filthy rich. Dems see that and offer the masses a redistribution philosophy. Republicans need to counter with a change to the system that uses market forces to produce a fairer wealth distribution curve. Call me if you want to learn how to do that.
