Maybe the article is about Coakley and not about Swift because Coakley was just nominated for the U.S. Senate and Swift is ???? D'ya think? (Ooops, sorry I suggested thinking.)

"He [Obama] was calm, sober, fair-minded, and guided by facts rather than emotions. He didn't jump to conclusions, he didn't ignore inconvenient evidence and he didn't blunder into messes."

If you really believe this, Chapman, you've been hitting the Kool-Aid a little too much or maybe you've just been reading bho's press releases and the left-media's accolades.
Somebody had better "Just Say NO!" while we still can. Yes, there will be consequences, but the alternative is far worse.
I have participated in Tea Parties on 4/15, 7/4, 9/12, and 11/4 of this year. These were my very first political rallies or meetings of any kind. I noticed two things that are encouraging and one that is worrisome.

At each of these meetings, the vast majority (over 90%) of the people I met said that they, like me, had never done anything like this before. The second thing was that these people were of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, economic levels, and, of course, both genders. This is encouraging to me in that I sense in them a breath of political fresh air and an awakening of the previously silent majority.

The worrisome thing I observed at all of these rallies was fear. The media has portrayed us as...
I won't presume to speak for Mr. Stossel, although I'm sure he would agree with me in that it is a matter of freedom. Your hypothetical people "who can benefit from high blood pressure medication who are not receiving it because they are uninsured" have made a free choice to spend their money on other things and, if eligible for assistance, have not bothered to get it. If you're looking for examples, check the number of uninsured who are eligible for Medicaid and SCHIP but are unregistered.

... number for Congressman McIntyre. You perform so many valuable public services. I'm sure Congressman McIntyre will be calling to thank you...from another phone.

I see no evidence that you forwarded a copy of your article to flag@whitehouse.gov so that your name can take its rightful, honorable place on the White House enemies list. I'll take care of that for you, Mike, and I imagine a few of your other readers might want to do the same thing in case both my arms break in the next 5 minutes. I realize we might overload that inbox but we'll just have to take that chance.
