You get the government you choose. Elections have consequences. The electorate got "change you can believe in" because Obama didn't look like or sound like Bush and because he became a "rock star." He had no backgroud or experience to be president. Hillary was far more qualified. He was/is a celebrity, in a celebrity-obsessed country. Tea Party people -- do not blindly follow the words of Palin-Beck-Hannity-Limbaugh-O'Reilly. In order to accomplish your goals, you must not fall into the trap of winning a battle or two and then losing the war. There should be no special litmus tests for candidates. You will never find that 'perfect' candidate. You must find those who can WIN in their district or states. Ideology differs from place to place. You made a naive decision/choice in NY-23.
