The people in Chicago live like they are in a third world country. They may as well get aid. It would actually be cheaper to give them aid than to pay their welfare payments.

According to the U.S. Treasury, U.S. spending on foreign aid has not only skyrocketed, it also trumps the amount spent on U.S. border security. CNS News has the details:

From fiscal 2008 to fiscal 2011, according to the U.S. Treasury, the federal government increased spending on foreign aid by 80 percent and, in fiscal 2011, spent 76 percent more on foreign aid than it did securing the borders of the United States.
