The Mindset of the Left: Part III

With all respect to the great Dr. Sowell, there is nothing new in this story. By now, we all understand Leftist behavior, or we choose not to. The big question of the day is what "We The People" are prepared to do about it.
What a shame...I wanted to like Rubio - but I will never support him from this point forward, no matter what. His stance on immigration reveals him to be yet another politician who doesn't represent me or my conservative views.

Rep. Ryan Speaks Out About 2012 Loss

Honestly, it didn't matter what Romney/Ryan did...the carefully nurtured Democratic underclass in America is now so large, they can have any candidate they want. People who pay no taxes and think prosperity comes from the next big government program are never likely to line up behind the party of low taxes and small government. What we learned in 2012 is that it's possible to win substantial majorities of white people, employed workers, Christians and married women - and yet still lose the election. Get used to it...next we will have eight years of President Clinton.

The Immigration “Crisis” Is No Crisis

Tell you what...let's forget about the amnesty thing and let's just annex Mexico, okay? At least that way we get some cool oil fields and Aztec ruins...
Excuse me, the problem isn't one of "trust". Those found to be deliberately lying to Congress and the American people needs to be punished for the crimes they have committed. Then, we can get back to issues of trust...

America's Vast Margin of Error

How about the people taking a bit of that blame, too? Yes, even the Conservatives who have sat by pointing out that the sky is falling - but never actually doing anything about it. Isn't it time to either do something, or shut up about it?
Funny reading, the posts so far... Many forget that the US electorate is now an underclass who care very little about the founding principles or traditional values. The 47% just want the checks to keep coming in. Add in the black, Hispanic and Jewish minorities that would vote for Hitler if his name had a "D" next to it, and you start to see how none of today's objections matter. The underclass doesn't want small government or low taxes, and they think prosperity comes from another government program. They certainly don't care if the rights of some conservative groups that they don't agree with in the first place are trampled by a tyrannical government. The underclass chooses our leaders from here on, and honestly, thanks to their numbers, there's little we can do about it. I mean, does anything think NY or California or Massachusetts or Illinois will suddenly lurch to the Right as a result of these abuses? Knowing that, why exactly would representatives on either side consider reform? No, after Obama there will be Hillary, and by 2024 when she leaves office, there will be little that can be done to destroy the cancer. America as we knew it has been in decline for a generation, and with the elections of 2008 and 2012, it has gasped its last gasp...

What IRS Scandal?

"...do sufficient numbers of Americans actually see how our country has been transformed over the past four years or so, and do sufficient numbers of us care about it?" Simple answer: NO. If the answer were YES, Obama would have never been elected. QED.
Seriously, does anyone think this will actually have any impact whatsoever? If you do, you're fooling yourself. We did nothing when Obama trampled the rights of GM shareholders, or car dealers who just happened to be in Republican districts. We did nothing when his justice department armed Mexican cartels, even as 100+ people died, including a US law enforcement officer. We did nothing when Obama shut down commerce in the Gulf in the wake of the BP oil disaster, and we watch transfixed as he tries to take credit for higher energy output today. We did nothing when that same justice department chose not to prosecute those menacing New Black Panthers, claiming that voter protection statutes were just for minorities. We did nothing when Obama crammed his healthcare plan down our throats against the will of a majority of the people, or lied to us about the impact of his economic programs on prosperity and joblessness. We did nothing when Obama's energy department gave billions to his cronies in green energy. We did nothing when Obama decided to not enforce the existing immigration laws. We did nothing as Obama berated and belittled our ally Israel. We did nothing when Obama chose to let Benghazi burn and our fellow Americans die rather than interrupt his beauty sleep the night before a big fund-raiser. ...and now we're supposed to believe that an Obama using the IRS as his personal gestapo is where we're going to draw the line? Sorry, I don't buy it. The press will rally around him over time, and the opposition will somehow come away as the "bad guys" once more. Face it, America just isn't up to it anymore.

Or worry over whether she can be tried for lying to Congress - or obstruction, for that matter...
