Some things are about process, not personalities or ideology. The problem here is that the president will not share his legal rationale, his view of his boundaries, or the process by which decisions will be made - not with the public; not with the Senate Intelligence Committee and its Democratic leader. It has little to due with drones - they are just a tool. The question is whether the emperor has the right to unilaterally decide with no clear criteria to kill American citizens without due process. www.RightinSanFrancisco.com

Paul probably has too much baggage and a bad last name, but he did certainly provide a focal point for a theme which should have broad resonance after years of Obama's thugocracy. Civil liberties and the rule of law are being broadly and rapidly eroded, and he showed a boundary - with the administration refusing to explain their legal reasoning or limitations, can they kill American citizens on American soil without due process? Unfortunately for our republic, it is a real question.
