The thing you have to love about the left is how consistently they use the same gambit and how consistently it works with our moronic society. Progressives pry open Pandora's box a little more, let more of the demons and gremlins out (abortion, destruction of nuclear family, euthanasia, gay marriage). Then they stand back, survey the damage, and shrug their shoulders and say, "It's the new normal, let's move on." But our communities are worse off, our schools are worse off, our society is worse off, our nation is worse off (as a whole) for liberal meddling. Will we ever learn.

When you say "communities are worse off," that requires much context. Certainly, there isn't many areas where a white family can raise their family in that Leave it to Beaver lifestyle without encountering some form of "depravity" with which they disapprove. But that is an easy trade when you consider that the alternative was keeping minority groups in chains for the comfort of the average white family. I'm not willing to return to an era where people are struggling for basic civil rights just so white people can retake the privileges that they seem to miss.

What I'm trying to say is that I have no doubt it is tough to live in a society where you feel like you are watching your values being eroded away. But it's even tougher to live in a society where you are the victim of outright violence and murder for nothing more than the color of your skin or your sexual orientation, and the fact that you made some white people somewhere feel "uncomfortable."

You are in a fantasy world dude. You act like this is 1920's America or even 1960's America, you are the fraud.

I am talking about drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, and crime rates, dropout rates. All of these have increased dramatically. I do not believe that the other injustices in our nation such as racial inequality could have have been corrected without tearing down all of the other standards of healthy communities.
