This is insanity. Fathers have been taken pictures of their sons with their first rifle since photography was invented. The boy looks happy, healthy, and the outside of the house looks neat and well kept. Additionally, even a casual glance shows that the boy has his finger off the trigger, the safe way to hold a firearm. A quick background check on the father would have shown that he was an NRA Range Safety Officer and state hunting instructor. The was an illegal, excessive, and heavy-handed response. Just more of the shallow, idiotic left wing hysteria sweeping this nation.
I have NO problem with Bloomberg's plan to educate young people on the dangers of loud music and headphones. EDUCATE, don't LEGISLATE!! 32 oz. sodas are bad for most people, too much sugar and carbs for people who don't exercise anywhere near enough to work it off. But you use the same program: you educate. And you do it civilly, without demonizing the soda industry. In this way you still leave a free people a choice, you just make it a more informed choice. That's how liberty is supposed to work.
Conservatives claim to stand for certain values of moral and ethical behavior so Liberals positively go berserk when they catch Conservatives transgressing those standards. But at least Conservatives have a bar they try to achieve. Liberals have no standards, no morals, no character. So there is literally no depth of depravity, wickedness or cruelty that they won't sink to, none! In fact at times they seem to strive to out-gross each other in how base and disgusting they can be. And our current President is their leader. Hail to the Chief liberal.
Here's a thought - let's tax Senators and Reps at 100%, all current and future earnings, till the debt is paid off. That should take about 100 or more years. Then we'll see how many of them think we have a spending problem.

Karl Rove Vs. the 'Far Right'

It bears repeating here that no matter how odious the Occupy Movement became, the left embraced them. There stood unified and for the most part they won. Meanwhile the oh-so-slightly right of center Republican leadership demonized the Tea Party in the last election. What's not to like about the Tea Party? They are everything Occupy was not: intelligent, law abiding, respectful, and solidly in favor of bedrock conservative principles. And they delivered in 2012. If the Rove-Rhino's of the world would embrace the Tea Party and unify Republicans, (hint: What does Obama fear?) the future would look a lot better.
This was the most pathetic thing I ever heard. A sad and disgusting defense of the indefensible.
Dems never met somebody else' money that they didn't like.

Obama: "We Are Not a Deadbeat Nation"

And we are not a deadbeat nation - yet. But that's only because Obama's not done. Four years from now we'll all be selling bowls of noodle soup on the sidewalks of Beijing. Just give Obama time.
I don't know what else I expected. You're response is passionate, but that's it! No facts, lots of hyperbole. That is the MO of the left, play to people's baser emotions (ie; Mitt Romney would take away a woman's right to chose simply by not enforcing the affordable care act), and avoid specifics because they simply get in the way. FACT: The non-partisan CBO predicted that if Barack Obama was reelected our national debt would be 20 trillion by the end of his second term. We are well on our way.
Please, spare us the rationalizations. I am not saying that what may have happened in Iraq was correct, the but long term affects of Obamanomics is far worse. Currently 1 in 7 Americans has a government job (fed, state, local) and we are only 3-4 percentage points away from the tipping point when greater then 50% of American receive a government check in one form or another. That is more and more people drawing from fewer and fewer resources (public vs. private sector). Perpetual motion doesn't exist in our world and it won't exist in our economy. Eventually our nation will utterly collapse under the weight of our debt.
Rule 1 in the lefty playbook: Lie Big Or Go Home.
