The "public" doesn't want gun control, especially the silliness demanded by the current crop of gun grabbing pansies. Only they and their small group of like minded pacifists and the emotional parents of lost children who they are using are pushing for change. Thank heaven the system worked as it was supposed to. They have the right to blow smoke. We have the right to disagree and stop their self-serving push.

When the Senate defeated every single amendment to proposed gun control legislation last week, Harry Reid was forced to withdraw the entire bill.  An enraged President Obama made a scathing statement at the White House, flanked by Newtown parent and Gabby Giffords.  His message?  Average Americans are disgusted with Congress' callous, dysfunctional inaction, and those responsible will pay a price at the ballot box.  To which actual average Americans have...
