Massachusetts is Obsolete

Massachusetts is now so far removed from its colonial roots it will never find its way back. The greedy, grasping monarchy of 18th century Britain has only been replaced with an even greedier state government that is nothing more than a mechanism for collecting revenue from the rest of the state and feeding it into the city of Boston in the form of water and sewer rate relief, subsidies to the MBTA, and sops to the union thugs that have a stranglehold on construction in the city- think Big Dig. Corrupt, greedy, tone deaf and uncaring. That's why I moved to NH!!

Some of us still have hope for this state. I think Devalue may be facing a tougher battle next time around. I'm an independent who used to vote almost equally for Democrats and Republicans. Next elections, though, I'm not voting in and 'D' candidates. I'm sick of the huge entitlement waste and fraud and government/union interference in how people are able to work or run businesses in this state. We need real people with common sense in government, not the current crop of lifelong academics and hacks who know nothing of how business or the real world work. I'm tired of a government that refuses to follow the will of the people (E-Verify, welfare fraud, union thuggery, the recent EBT card scandal, etc...)

Unfortunatly southern NH has now turned into northern Mass. Most of the Mass refugees promptly forgot why they left, and have INFESTED most of NH. Just look around, my neighbor STILL drives a car with an obama 2008 bumpersticker.Look at the democrat candidates for the congressional districts.

And we welcome you here in NH as long as you left the idea that everything needs to be fixed by a government program back in Mass. Too many people from Mass move up here, and promptly start demanding the government programs that turned Massachusetts into Taxachussets.

It certainly began well.  Anyone who has walked The Freedom Trail will tell you that Boston holds a unique concentration of American history.  Over the course of the 2.5 miles of red brick, you will see Park Street Church, attended by Oliver Wendell Holmes, a church and a thought-leader both known for supporting abolitionist causes.  You will also find Faneuil Hall, birthplace of the American doctrine, “no taxation without representation.”
