As a law abiding U.S. citizen I do not have the freedom to poison myself with drugs but I can go to a gunshow (conveniently located on the Mexican border) and purchase an unlimited array of military grade weaponry from a "private collector" without so much as a driver's license. One way to make gasoline, many ways to make electricity.....batteries are getting better all the time, gasoline...not so much. How much to upgrade to next generation batteries in an electric car? How much to upgrade to a more efficient engine in a gas-car. Obama or no Obama, we will eventually all drive electric vehicles.
I guess i'm a liberal, I don't wanna hurt anybody. I get that I will pay more for a burger if the guy making my burger is paid more than welfare. That being said I have read old articles decrying abolition as being financially disastrous for for the country, especially the poor.
Already a common practice...and would be if the min wage was 2.00 an hour.
