Only two rules? You live in a far simpler world than I, sir. I also happen to approve of speed limits and DUI laws. We are trying, imperfectly of course, to prevent the infringement upon others or their property with many of the rules that you omit, plus attempting to provide for the Common Welfare and National Defense. I willingly accept a number of restrictions at work as well, that I may bring home an acceptable standard of living. You accuse others of being too restrictive, but the balance between restriction and anarchy is never simple. I really don't care of you smoke weed in your home, but expect repercussions unless and until it is legalized.
