"Why do we put up with the Government telling Doctors how to practice medicine?"

It's just the beginning. Wait until the death panel gets rolling. Know how many doctors are on it?

Yes, and thank God my sister is a Doctor at our local hospital. I am very resistant to opiates. When I badly burned my arm, the emergency room Doc gave me a big horse shot of dilaudid, which then did nothing. As the Doc started giving me a hard time, my sister came down and had him give me another, and then another. After three shots I was out. They told my wife I would be out for days right before I woke up 3 minutes later. Painless.
Without my sister I would've been in agony, for no reason. It never occurred to me that people might injure themselves to get drugs. But that emergency room Doc sees it all the time. Why do we put up with the Government telling Doctors how to practice medicine?
