Cruz Highlights Need For Term Limits

I have been saying that for quite a while. The canard that the voter can enforce term limits is just that, a canard. There is too much funding and too much name recognition and too many low information voters, for us to get anything but the same result we have been getting and the same people we have been getting. A second part of that is that Keynesian Economics and permanent deficits make crony capitalism and these huge campaign war chests possible. Without that, we might have a better chance to vote out these permanent incumbents. Just think how different this country would be if Gingrich had been able to get term limits and a balanced budget through

Yet we may be at a crossroads where voters are particularly open to packages of reforms to reverse the bounty of growth and abuses the federal government has visited on us recently. Armed with the facts, of which there are plenty to choose from, it would not be hard to put together a campaign against the kind of corprorate -special interest cronyism that has been protected by generations of the Old Guard.
