It's funny, I still have my old bumper sticker: Jimmy Carter, no longer our worst president
The headline should have read: Most Transparent Fraud
Truth be told, I'm surprised she lasted this long.
Virginia had been on the short list until the recent election. Beretta dropped us from consideration us after our new governor stated that he wanted more gun control. Way to go. You just cost us at least 300 jobs, with probably more in the future.
Talk about a Catch-22. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. If someone shows up for mental health reasons, they end up on a list. If they don't, (fearing losing their gun rights) they may have mental problems down the road. Don't you just love this bunch?
Anyone who puts any stock into anything The New York Times has to say needs their head examined. The Old Gray Lady has long been suffering from senile dementia.
If I'm not mistaken, the law prohibits new manufacturing of REAL lightbulbs, but doesn't prohibit sales of existing stock. The whole idea of banning lightbulbs is still a bunch of Big Brother BS, though.

Maybe the members of the D.C Council should be fired and required to try to find a real job.
Let's not forget that the "libertarian" Sarvis was heavily backed financially by a liberal Democrat money bundler.

I think you hit the nail on the head. A moral responsibility. Of course, as someone has mentioned, if SS "contributions" had been left as they were designed to be instead of being dumped into the general fund, things might be better. Partial privatization of the money younger people pay, (say 10% ?), something similar to the federal Thrift Savings Plan, would help. The problem there is that the government couldn't get their hands on it and they don't like that.
"Only then did some numbers from heavily blue Northern Virginia counties begin to cascade, pushing McAuliffe over the top." From the article. . The dems had to wait until the last minute to see how many fraudulent votes they needed to win. . The next one will be the AG recount. Let's see how many "undiscovered" votes the dems find to win that one.
