Not to worry. Citizens (of this country or other countries) can continue to receive excellent health care, free of charge. Merely go to the nearest Emergency Room and get treated. Then, do not pay the bill. It's worked fine up to now, and will continue to take care of medical needs.

IIRC, the penalty for not signing up cannot be collected by the Federal government. Their plan is to withhold the penalty amount from payments such as income tax refunds. A little discussion with H&R Block might close off that avenue of collection.
