The Loss of Trust

Surely future historians will be much, much, much more objective than media, for the most part, is now. The truth will come out about how feckless Obama is as president ! Also, couldn't the NSA at least give us a few specifics instances of "thwarted terrorist plots" to wet our appetite for truth regarding their actions ? Couldn't that be done without divulging secret details to help the enemy ? Over 50 is too vague !

I hope so, but this guy is cut from the same cloth of so many of our bien-pensants that I worry that any negatives will be scrubbed for generations.

Good luck with the historians (see Abraham Lincoln, FDR, etc.).

Oh sure, if that's all it will take to satisfy you, then O'zero will tell you whatever you want to hear.

He will tell you sweet sweet lies if he senses that you want to believe, that's his whole schtick and stage show. Not coincidentally, that's how con-artists (and psychopaths) manipulate people, especially those who apparently want to be deceived.

Tell ya whatever you wanna hear. Just don't question him or make him mad, there's no mercy in the devil.

I'm surprised that by this point the Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil" isn't played as O'zero's theme song before he takes the stage at public speaking events.

Imagine, as he walks in to Congress to give the State of the Union, instead of "Hail to the Chief" you here the wild, driving beat of the congas and maracas, then Bill Wyman and Keith Richards start in with the "Woo Woo, Woo Woo, Woo Woo", and soon then Mick lets it go with:

Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a mans soul and faith

And I was round when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that Pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game..
