If No One Goes With You, You Cannot Win

Two things won this election for Obama period. First, the media played the biggest role because of their false or no-existent narrative; some call it vetting ! Second, Obama's likeability was greater than Romney's. Again partly because of all the very negative democratic propaganda and partly because of the news media. Sadly, likeability is the main proponent in electing people. Reagan had it and so did Obama...both long shots when getting started, both prevailed, in large part, because of their complete likeability for so many. To "drinkers" it's utmost important because most couldn't tell you anything beyond that why they voted for Obama !

The passage in Ruth (1:16) highlights what it means to belong: "Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God my God."

This was Ruth's response when her mother-in-law Naomi suggested she go back to her own people after the death of her husband (Naomi's son). But Ruth was determined to stay, to be with Naomi. In a broader context of groups and leaders, Ericka Anderson, author of the new book "Leading So People Will Follow," describes great business leaders we are drawn to follow.
