I'm trying to figure that out as well. Our country, generally, culturally, has been moving left for decades. Our education system, a heavy liberal bias. So....the squandering? Outsourcing of jobs? Free market? Boom and bust, dot com. Boom and bust, housing?

I think all of the boom/busts are a result of human greed. Those that lose want to blame someone other than themselves.

I'm not Charson........I'm 56 year old white guy. I don't know about the squandering. Wondering, like you. Guessing.

"So....the squandering? Outsourcing of jobs? Free market? Boom and bust, dot com. Boom and bust, housing?"

Outsourcing jobs - Business looks to make profit. It lives and dies based on profit. Gov't regs squander profits. You want your jobs here at home? Talk to your politicians.

Free market - How does Free Market squander?

Boom and bust, dot com - Everyone seeks to get rich quick. Were YOU one of them? When it turns against you you go bust.

Boom and bust, housing - I have lived 30 years in my house. I did not go bust. Others sought to buy more than they could afford (thanks to the likes of B. Franks). Went they stopped making the payments they went bust.

What have I squandered that you once had?

Recently, President Obama said “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” Unfortunately, it wasn’t a gaffe. The president truly believes that an individual’s entrepreneurial success is less a result of one’s industriousness and intelligence than it is a derivative of society (i.e. government).

So, if you’re a proud business owner and you’ve worked darn hard to get where you are - the Romney Camp has come out with some swag of its own:
