he is automatically taken in the worst possible light?

I'm asking?

I don't see the way you are writing, with this one article.

Sure, overall I make absolutely no comment, and defer to your experience.

I am not aware that I've read very much Friedman. I like the NYT's for Krugman.

I'm glad some of you follow these columnists. I do get to know a few here and there. Like John Dickerson of Slate.

The Friedman article does not state support for Communist China. Not one moment does he use that form of writing. He does show how they are making an effort to overtake us with green technology, and making that point by way of a bit of sarcastic retort against Republicans.

That is what is most likely disliked by Barone. He either let a flunky write his article this time, or he didn't read Friedmans article, but used someones crib notes.

He messed up (Barone).
I have read a lot of posts later in all the articles I visit.

Thanks again, and have a nice day.
I must get off to work.

I delayed it a 1/2 hour, but I can't delay any more.

Have a very nice day, one and all.
I don't know how to respond.

Consider how our railroads were started.

Now, it is exactly the start to which my original statement refers and to which I will always refer with this regard.

Starting great change has very often occured because the govt creates the initial demand.

Look at the wiring of America for electricity?

Do you think the fledgling infrastructure would have been so profoundly expanded without the govt.?

What about mass transportation and don't forget our highways. It is via these roads that we actually have become the greatest nation on earth.

If we don't build with the govt, we don't work as a nation.

Simple and easy to see.
Is your scenario from some time period of context which can be known? Such as the 70's when it fits?

We will not experience that kind of inflation for the short term. It may happen if we have some legislation like Cap n Trade without this consideration, but it's not on the present horizon.

Certainly not from the current stimulus which btw is just starting its second phase this month and runs full steam until Oct. next year.

It's liberals?

Why not communists?
Why not the fringe Ayn Rand types?

Why are those who want to create change with violence not part of this list?

I'm just asking, as it seems to me, there is no one group that stands at the head of the pack.
"One is techno-economic paradigm, which stands for the new ‘common
sense’ guiding the diffusion of each revolution. The other is great surge
of development, which represents the process of installation and deployment
of each revolution and its paradigm in the economic and social system"

There is within this a need to look at how govt spending has historically aided and created 'great surge in development'.
What do we do to help the vote toward more desirable goals?

Lower taxes, less govt., better education, high security and so forth?

Please refrain from anything that does not work the system as we actually have it.
It would be very good to have our Christlike intentions be our guide throughout life.

Yet we fail, we have not found our way to living as Jesus mentions and is worded through the N.T.

Glad you care, try to be less angry with some of us who know this, and care as passionately as yourself.

We might find workable solutions that are good from the teachers perspective.

Could happen.
