Re: Speaker Boehner, anyone claiming he has not been supportive is claiming something contrary to what Rep. Issa has said. I have seen Issa say on several occasions that Boehner had his back. Issa couldn't have gotten anywhere near this without consulting and getting the blessing of the Speaker. Any assertions denying that is evidence of an un-clear understanding of the politics at play in the House.

rick, exactly. Boehner is the leader, and just because some here don't see him running around hollering and jumping up and down and hollering some more they think he's ineffective. The ones who run around and rant are the ones who are ineffective. Actions speak louder than words. Some here have a lot to learn about that.

UPDATE 4:14 PM: Attorney General Eric Holder has been voted in contempt of Congress by the House Oversight Committee by 23-17. The vote came down after three Demcratic amendments to the contempt charge were voted down. An amendment introduced by Rep. Trey Gowdy rendering President Obama's invocation of executive privilege not applicable or relevant to this case at this time. The contempt charge will now move to the full House next week.
