Believe we should have a consistent rule as to when a child gains adult status. As an adult, they should be allowed to. vote, purchase liquor, purchase tobacco products, purchase cold medicine in pharmacies, etc.. Only downside would be that they would be removed from their patent's health policies. I don't know what is the best age for adulthood but believe there should a single age when this happens. Age could be 18, 21, 26 or something else. Only possible exception are military members who earn their health insurance and have assumed adult responsibility.

how does someone being on their parents insurance until they turn 26 affect you? I'm curious? How is it impacting your life? Bootstrappy parents can tell their kids to go scratch and get their own insurance.

You could try, oh I don't know, perhaps reading the article.

I'm sure if you ask nicely, someone will help you with the big words.

It costs us taxpayers money, fool. Not that you'd know anything about paying taxes...

It affects me by increasing the cost of insurance.

No the kids are automatically coverd by their parents insurance, even if they have their own provided from work.
And just who do you think will pay for the insurance of 26 year old deadbeats?
