idiot no intelligent person uses hollow points or Self defense rounds for target practice and the amount purchase is twice what the US military used in 10 years of fighting two wars. DHS has 210,000 employs assuming everyone is an armed agend that means each one will have to fire 7,700,000 rounds of ammo even firing one round a second it would take years to use the ammo they bought in just the last 10 months. MRAP are amour personal carriers designed to not only stop small arms but also mines they provide better protection that the Sherman Tanks used up till the end of the Vietnam war. They are military not law enforcement weapons.

In conversations with those opposed to the notion of drone attacks against U.S. citizens, on or away from American soil, I ask a question as a consistency test:

Is your opposition based on a blanket principle that no President should have such power, or is it a spurred by a mistrust of the current administration?

In many cases I get the first answer, so I know I am engaged with a libertarian mindset, which I always respect and often share. We should always take great pause before empowering government to take bold action unilaterally that could result in loss of life...
