I periodically share public opinion data, either because I’m encouraged by the results or because I think that the research helps show how to frame issues.
Examples include polling data on personal retirement accounts, the dangers of big government, support for spending caps, and viability of class warfare tax policy.

I suggest you vote for what you want. Otherwise you are being just like Boehner, saying you will fight the battle some other time - a time that never comes. Even if it ever does, you will get a minor victory that isn't worth it.
You have no right to complain about the government you voted for. A government republicans have been perfectly fine with, as long as it's their guy gutting the Constitution. The only solution I know of is for enough people to vote for politicians who will uphold their oath to the Constitution. I can never again vote for someone who's record tells me they have no intention of abiding by the law. I can't. I won't. Forever.
